SuspensionSprings, struts, coilovers, sway-bars, camber plates, and all other modifications to suspension components for Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
Oi! I just bought some last week too! Just waiting on them to get here now... Did you install them yet? Pix please!!! Btw, PM sent to you about SD Mini stuff... Cheers!
yea i got them in yesterday....was a bit of a pain to get the fronts seated in the collar but with a bit of elbow grease i got em in...makes a huge difference now...but be warned....adjusting the rears are a pain since you dont have easy access to the adj ****...youll have to adjust and remove to change...
Did you install them on base? Anyone in the group help you?
I just talked to the body and my car will FINALLY be finished tomorrow. New wheels, tires and an alignment. I am DYING to install all my parts.
i did it on base....actually was easier than i thought...if anyone local needs to use a drill bit to drill out the rear dust caps to have them fit lemme know i have a bit that chewed through the metal in under 20 seconds

The right bit is incredibly important when it comes to drilling those. The right bit can make the job much easier. Glad it went well
Did you get a chance to take them out for a ride? What do you think?
If they weren't yellow would you still have gotten 'em?
Sorry, seriously, how much difference have you noticed with these?
I'm about due for more suspension mods!
rally: havent had a chance to take them on a run to see how they act
miniconcarne:i got them for the adjustability....the yellow is just a benny...so far they work great though well see how well they hold up
bang:if they are open u can them till the shop closes
Well I will have to talk to the other Mad Modder in the club and see if he would either help me at his/my place or see if you and I could do it at the shop on base if you wouldn't mind helping. I think I could do everything except I would like his help with the camber plates.
