Suspension TSW R56 springs - coming soon
As we said - protos would be wound in 3-4 weeks from 3/19. We're expecting to have the first set installed around the 4/19. Then, we'll proceed to test them ever so gently (NOT!).
Hoping to release them to R56 owners by the end of May at the very latest.
And, what's wrong with black anyway? Do they seriously need to be any other color? JMHO, but performance is the key with springs.
We can entertain custom colors, I guess...

Just found the post
I just found the post 7/8ths and 1 1/8th.
It sound like another spring company has missed the mark. Their are plenty of great spring that lower the car a little over an inch.
Try 18 mm up front
21 mm in back
Super dialed setup and just enough difference to carve out a market. If you want to compete with Eibach and Mach these are great springs and great companies you may be one too but you will have to be because you will be competing for the same market share.

Me too
Agree 100% - keep the drop less than an inch on both ends, otherwise there will be little to differentiate this offering, and those of us who don't want the "lowrider" look will have to wait and hope that somebody is willing to offer something different.
Hmmm.... so I'm guessing you're looking for 3/4" up front and 1" in the rear?
This is my current problem. You could very easily solve this problem for me, and a lot of other folks right now. I'll even go so far as to say that if you match Derosi's suggestion up top - 18mm front, 21mm rear, I'll buy the first set.

Close
I think the suggestion for 18mm/21mm is a good one, close to 3/4"-1", but noticably less of a lowrider look than the other springs already available.
Just get Eibach
If you want 1 inch front and rear I think Eibach is 1.1 front 1.2 rear sounds like that is what you are looking for. The TSW should be .8 and .9 or something like that.
I don't want Eibach
Derosi
TSW asked "Anyone want to weigh in with suggestions" in the opening post. Well one inch all around is my suggestion, not the same as yours, sorry.
I am aware of Eibach springs (1.2 front and back) and that is more drop than I want.

Question for TSW
Here's my question for TSW regarding their new springs: When Mini designed the JCW suspension with about 0.5" drop, they went to a much stiffer overall setup, according to the reports on Motoring File and elsewhere. Was that big increase in stiffness necessary to avoid bottoming out with only a 0.5" drop, or did they make it stiffer simply to promote better handling under aggressive driving? If they had to make it so stiff to avoid bottoming out with only a 0.5" drop, then it seems a 1" drop would have to be really stiff. Not only would I not be interested in a spring that gave a "lowrider" look, I also don't want a spring that makes driving on real world roads (i.e., highly imperfect) a bone rattling experience.
Not to hijack this thread, but I wanted to lower my car about an 1" and decided to go coilovers as opposed to just springs. I just didn't feel comfortable taking 1" of suspension travel out of an already limited amount.
Which coilovers did you install and how much travel do they give compared with the factory suspension? It was my understanding that most coilovers end up giving you less travel than the factory suspension.
I'm not really concerned with the amount of travel I get, I was more concerned with taking out 1/3 of the travel on the OEM shocks. I was also considering the fact that if I went with just springs now, I'd end up doing the shock/struts in a year or two anyway. I figured I might as well just do coilovers from the start.

.... I just think blue would be cool color (also no one uses blue).
