Aim looking for of a good auto shop in Jersey that works in Mini, the dealers are KILLERS (8 hours at $110/Hour) to install 4 Cross Shocks and a Alta Sway Bar and $95.00 for an oil change..........

I was about to say, I pay enough taxes in MD, New Jersey is on it's own.

 

Iam from Sussex county NJ.

 

i live in West Orange (Essex County). i go to Helix in Philly, PA for everything. only about 1-1.5 hours away and great ride down the turnpike. Eric is great guy with very reasonable shop rates, he even has some flat rates for certain installs. try giving TyrolSport in Queens, NY a call too. Eric @ Helix speaks very highly of them too and Eric sells their caliper bushings, so they are somewhat affiliated.

u can all joke all u want about NJ till you're blue in the face. then when you give yourselves a headache from laughing so hard and want your faces to turn back to normal color, go grab your OTC drugs that 80% come from you guessed it...NJ! Sweet chemicals just kidding of course

 

As well as the CDC kind. I lived in NJ for 12 years.

 

If you're looking for a specialized Mini shop, Helix is not too far. And a good excuse for a drive.

For regular maintenance, you might want to find a local shop that does work on BMWs. I've done that for oil changes.
