Texas springs installed

Well I did it. I went to Sears yesterday to replace a few of the required tools listed in K-Huevo and Justintime's write-up that were missing from my box.

Fired up the air compressor and when my roommate got home it took us 2.5 hours to finish the spring install completely. The write-up was very good and quite helpful.

I like the stance of the car now, but will hold of submitting pics until the springs are fully settled in. My car will be on display at the SEMA show in R1Racing Wheels booth :D

I only regret not having ordered the camber plates and rear control arms at the same time, doing this all over again will suck though it's not really that bad once you've already done it one time.

The ride is great, firm but compliant just like the TXwerx guys said.

well it creaks a bit when I crank the wheel to the left. I used the strap wrenches (15 bucks at sears) instead of the expensive socket.

Check to make sure the spring isn't contacting the inside of the strut tower...

Hmmm... I'll have to check that when I get my car back from the SEMA show. It's on display in the R1 Racing booth.

I hope the spring isn't touching, I haven't done camber plates yet! It sounds like rubber more than anything.
