Around a couple hundred. Did mine myself, it's really not hard if you have the tools!

It is a job you can do in the front drive within about a 6 pack time frame . The only thing you will need professionally done will be a 4 wheel alignment which I would think manditory if you are lowering the car any significant amount.

Installing the fronts can be a bit more difficult than the rears. I spent hours trying to remove the front passenger side strut. The rear struts are easily accessible. As long as you have a spring compressor, it's not that big of a deal. Though I can tell you that I got the best results when I let Scott M. of Central Coast Coopers do it--since he just removed the strut, stuck it in his air powered spring compressor, and did the change over very quickly. Whereas without those nice tools, I was having a problem with the spring turning and not seating properly as I tightened it up. Oh and if you just happen to put a part upside down, you can really prevent your struts from working--been there, done that---and then you can cringe at the fact that you get to take it all apart again and do it again.

No it's not hard work, just with the right tools, it's a lot more fun.

FWIW, I've done 3 H-sport installs on oem struts and FSD's, and currently running on H&R Greens that Scott installed and very pleased.

Not that hard to do. There is a good write up somewhere that goes into great detail. Only special tools you need are a spring compressor and a bolt (can't remember the size, 24mm?) with a window cut out of the side to undo the front strut nut. 60 dollars from the dealer, or you can buy a 4 dollar deep sock and cut the side out yourself. I myself took it to work and got a guy to cut it with a wire edm

Check out the how-to's to get a good idea on the process. Great write ups in there.
