FSD is the model designation that Koni uses for a model variant of their shocks. They have 3 basic lines, the FSD, Special and Classic in their performance oriented models.

Koni defines FSD as Frequency Selective Damping

FSDs for the street-only car

I am still happy with my FSDs with OEM springs. I have not yet tracked the car, and won't until I get it paid for (next Nov). For the street, the FSDs are a great answer. They really soak up cracks and joints and bumps in the road that used to crash and jounce with the OEM struts. I think the rebound keeps the rubber on the road better, so the car is in touch with the road better than OE.

I aim to get some adjustable camber plates and rear control arms next. Right now I am leaning toward H-sport for the plates, but haven't decided on the arms.

Ride height lowered ~1.5"... Corner-weighted at 49.8% (close as we could get it), swaybars neutralized (via the Powergrid endlinks). Alignment was dialed in to -2.5* front, -1.5 rear, 0 toe front and slight toe in for the rear.

Why is it so effective? The spring rates work exceptionally well, the struts/shocks are valved SPECIFICALLY for this spring rate, and it's a total package... You can go higher on the spring rates and change the valving, but then it's a beating on the street - this is right at the edge of performance v. comfort for a dual use car...
Do the special wind front springs add to the price or time of shipment?

I don't think so

they are one of the two beehives stocked at one of the importers for the Mini app. I bought some direct and they were stock items. But check with TSW if you're buying from them to be sure.

Thanks - I wasn't sure if they were a special order for the person being discussed in this thread. But after reading their site, it seems like he has the out of the box TSW "softcore" setup. And if this is the setup for me, I'd go through TSW for it.
