Suspension Eibach springs on MC...good for MCS?

Eibach springs on MC...good for MCS?

ey guys

recently just sold my 02 MC and have now moved up to a 04 MCS. since the deal was to bring back the MC to stock-spec, i removed everything including the springs

are the Eibach springs for MC good for MCS?

well, the guy who i bought the springs from say that there are different Eibachs for MC & MCS. since no one in the group with an MC is interested in buying the springs from me i'm considering putting it in...

They may NOT be as stiff as the ones intended for a MCS, but if you in this for just a drop, the MC Eibachs will be fine.

oh no, not as stiff? tsk tsk. oh well. guess i really DO need the MCS-spec springs

It would be a fairly slight differance. Think of it like this, The MC has a lighter front end due to a lack of the supercharger and all the nessesary plumbing. BUT the battery is up front, and the battery itself weighs a lot. So the difference in spring rate would be minimal at most. It's your call though, you may want to contact Eibach to see what exacly the spring rates are.

let me just update this:

Eibach springs for the MC WILL NOT FIT a MCS (but ya'll prolly know that by now)

so i just went ahead and bought me a new set for my MCS
