Suddenly I'm feeling the need for speed...

A pulley may not be too far off, but I will definitely need help with that!

Sadly, I don't think they make pulleys in pink.

But you could be the first!!

I'm looking at the orange STRP for Gromit. Will you install them for me? Yes, I can do it myself, but...I better not say it, my wife might (make that WILL) hit me.

Seriously, though, good write-up and a nice addition to Malibu Stacy.

So mushrooming does happen. But, is it common or rare on street-driven MINIs?

I am really glad you like the Pink Plates. I knew they'd look good on your car.

Yes, this is the way I purchased my car. Completely stock !!! The previous owner bought it in Texas. I had Brian Harris MINI bang them back down, and then I installed the M7 STB along with IE fixed camber plates. Haven't had any problems since then,

The strut towers in my mini look like that. And it's stock!!! Did I mention the roads in North New Jersey really bite. When I have a free afternoon, the srps and ie fixed plates are going on.

Not necessarily expensive. I spent $0 on the 2x4 scrap and mallet I used to fix mine.

Yep, both passenger side rims were trashed. They didn't look like it from the outside, but when the wheels were removed...........the insides were bent.
