The new V-Maxx coilovers are now available and I wanted to make sure everyone was aware. Pete, Stratmosphere

I just dropped the price to $599! That includes the drop links for the front sway bar too. I have 10 pieces in stock right now. Pete, Stratmosphere. 1.866.533.1777.

Ill let you know soon. Got mine yesterday!... just have to put them on hopefully sometime in the next two weeks or so...
But from my research is they ride similar to stock...potentially a little bouncy compared to other coilovers, but these are not meant for autoXing and racing....
We'll see... they seem like a good build quality at least

well im sure the H&Rs have done a number on my 42K mile stock struts...
yea i could have just gotten new struts, as the H&Rs are pretty nice.
but..i want to go lower
Out of curiosity why not look at the H&R Sport c/os?
before: (H&R springs)

after:

yes i plan on raising it up a tad lol. it does get around town just fine though.
Rides well, but like I researched, they are very noisy... which might go with having not-so-much initial compression on the springs with them down so low... sounds like a box of scrap metal in the trunk. ill be investigating this weekend. My guess is the lack of any rubber between parts, but whoknows.

Oh yep. I didnt have the shock top nuts tight enough. Had a really crappy impact gun.
Basically when the car would put load on them the 'foam pillow things' (which you reuse from stock stuff) would compress I think and then the shock shaft could tap the edge of the hole or something up in there.
Tightend the rear nuts to 12 threads showing and it stopped. Still had a few creaky spring noises up front, but nothing like the rear was doing. I never retightened the fronts, though probably would have helped. Things go together pretty solidly up front.

Any chance that could be what is making the noise on mine? Every time I accelerate hard I hear like a metal tapping noise or clicking noise only from the left side. The noise is def driver side somewhere around the suspension. I only have NM springs with the stock shocks. Maybe the bolt loosed up? I can't figure out what the noise is.
Ive heard the need to go in and tighten swaybar links before...
But, My guess is your stock top spring mounts are shot. They can loosten up. Maybe pop off the black plastic cover on top of the strut tower and see if that bolt has loostened.... Would probably take a light impact or something though.
I know mine have gotten a bit loose feeling and a little wobbly from when i had them off recently
