Bought 2002 s 75,000 I need a trustworthy reasonable mechanic in south county. I have owned classic minis but these new cars are a bit above my pay grade ,
. I really love this little car but was told the two stage fan needed to be replaced $700. I have no idea , another mech who did not list it on his estimate , i am going to go broke paying for differing diagnoses dont know who to trust.
I am not cheap just, I expect to put out some money thats ok if it goes to whats really needed

Did you get a response? I am not having any issues but an independent Mini mechanic is recommending a new thermostat as he sees some residue.
