I saw online some things about building a pressure bleeder and I thought it would be a good idea. Does anyone know the part number and about how much a new master cylinder cap is going to be? Also does anyone know of a matching cap that I could get for cheaper?

If anyone is interested, the web page that sparked my interest is this page.

Interesting idea. If I'm not mistaken, the MINI uses a standard Beemer cap.

If it is the standard BIMMER  Cap ... try the following link for directions to build. Built mine for less than $15.

Good luck

ok, where did you get a pressure gauge for so cheap? The only one I've found so far was $6.97. Anyone know where to get a cheap gauge? I managed to find a garden sprayer at both Lowe's and Home Depot (on their web page) for $9.97 so I'm off to a good start for a cheap bleeder.

Picked up a pressure gauge from ACE hardware ... believe it was in their dollar bin or some such. Reads way more than I need, but covers 10-20 PSI just fine. Right place ... right time I guess. Good luck!

Cheers
