Crankshaft or Idler pulley problems?

I have an '03 CRMC with 50,000 miles.
I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but I am getting an intermittent grinding noise from the front (right) side of my engine. It is very subtle at an idle, but becomes very audible from 1st to 3rd. Looking at the engine at idle, the crankshaft pulley has an ever so slight wobble...or I could be blind.
I'm taking it to the dealer Monday. Thank goodness I bought an extended warranty.

My question is...is this a common problem or possibly an easy fix?
Thanks!

Yes and yes.

Common as in not unheard of, not common as in they all do that.

Easy as in 'If you can install your own supercharger pulley you can replace your own idler pulley" not "If you can pump your own gas you can replace your own idler pulley".

Just heard from the dealer today....it was the idler pulley AND the power steering fan bearing. The dealer wanted $598.00 to repair it, but good thing I bought the extended warranty. Did I mention the car is only 258 miles over the 50,000 mile warranty??!!??
