Hello. I have a 2006 MINI Cooper Convertible S.

This is my problem: The driver side tail lamp does not light up when the headlights are on. The bulb is fine because when I use the brakes, the lamp does light up like normal.

How can I fix this?

Change the bulb. It's a dual-filament and one is burned out. Don't know if it is an 1157 or 3157 on an '06; your manual will say.

 

From the diagram, it appears to be an 1157 (round metal base).

 

Your dealer will repair or replace it for free under warranty.
