Battery Replacement Campaign-Cooper?

I came across this TSB and wondered if anyone here has heard of it and/or benefited from it:
http://www.alldata.com/tsb/BMW/11464...206/index.html
Does anyone know how to find out which cars are affected by this.
I have an 04 MC and my battery died for no reason last year. I took it to my dealer (for other stuff) and mentioned it to them, but nothing was done about the battery. I haven't had a problem since.
I wonder if I shoud call the dealer about a replacement? Anyone have any ideas?

New Battery

The battery is covered under the 4 year/50K mile warranty. The dealer replaced my battery under warranty, it went bad 1 month before the warranty was over @ 42K miles. However, you have to bring the car in so they can determine if the battery is defective. It is not uncommon for a battery to die without warning, work one time then the next time it's dead. Many drivers will replace a battery after 4 years just for peace of mind, which is probably a good practice, why get stuck with a dead battery? I think you are out of luck with the dealer, since you already replaced the battery, you have to ask yourself, is it worth your time and effort to hassle with the dealer about the battery.

Here in Arizona, if you get 2 or more years out of your battery, that's excellent. It's almost a given that you'll need to replace them.....

2003 Production

Mini must have gotten a bad batch of batteries. This TSB covers Coopers produced between Feb 1, 2003 and March 31, 2004. In any case, batteries are covered under the 4 yr/50K mile warranty.

So I think I may be eligible, ebven though they did not inform me of it. My car is a 10/03 build, and I have NOT replaced the battery yet.
