Time for a stupid question, i am replacing my horn with an airhorn, but want to use the oem wiring so i'll need to disconnect my horn. is there just 1 or two horns and where is it (they) located?

There are two horns, one on each side above each fog light (or fog light opening if you don't have fog lights). You can see them if you open the hood and look down at each side. Next to each hood release mechanism.

The mini cooper horns (yes two), are in those two holes all the way in the front corner when the bonnet is open. I Cut one of the horn wires, and installed the two red flat hella horns they sell ($60). They produce a LOUD 130db+. All I did was cut the horn, run the wire to one horn, and the ground to the other. Mounting the horns on the left side (when looking at the front of the car), is MUCH easier, as there is a lot of room. Its really is worth it, and works when you press the horn button on the steering wheel. Air Horn's are easy too.
