Plastic wheel arch is what I would call it.

Thanks. Anyone know how I can go about installing one, either by myself or through someone? Is there a DIY for it?

Edit: Ordered it through minimania

Check with a dealer service department. Sometimes they'll advise you, or get a Mini service book.

I have seen some threads on painting arches, which discuss diy installs of arches and areo kits. What I recall is that everyone recommends buying new clips as the old ones apparently break off during removal.

I think most of the sane folks with DIY experience are sleeping right now. Check back after the presents are open...

I had to replace the clips on one of my front ones they just snap right on. Very easy to do but I am not sure if the back ones are the same.

Try Motoringfile.com. Look up Aero kit install. I think the PDF will give you a how to.

Little whits clips that slide onto the arch itself. They attach to little studs welded to the fenders. Then on the very ends there is a standard black clip that inserts itself into hole in the fender. The black ones are usually the ones that break. cheap and easy to replace. Dealer should have them in stock.

Once you pull the inner fender liner, it'll be obvious.

The fender liner comes out with the removal of a few plastic expanding clips and one or 2 real screws. The screw heads on the clips will unscrew (you might have to hold the clip part itself to stop it from turning) and then the entire clip will pop out.
