Anyone been able to get rid of squeaking in arm rest?

Hi,

I ordered my 2006 MCS Checkmate with the arm rest from the factory. Since I got it last Dec whenever I rest my arm while driving the connector squeaks. Anyone has a solution?

Thank you,
My Gocar

I have the same issue...plus the top slides open way too easy as well. Have not found a solution for it as of yet

Arm Rest

It's nice to know that it isn't just mine that makes the damn noise.

Try some WD-40

I applied some WD-40 and it appears to work.

Glad to know it's the arm rest. I was about to schedule with my orthopedic Doc. I thought it was my left elbow.
