breakin' up

gonna get scanned at auto zone but till then... i'm getting miss fires on acceleration along with vibration. at a constant speed the engine is fine; if i roll on slow it's okay but if i go quick with the pedal it breaks up(sounds like when you get off the throttle quick) . i pulled the plugs one by one and each one made a difference. i pulled the i/c twice to double check for a leakin' boot. all good visually. this is all after doing the catch can mod. still don't see corilation. ground is good and clean. did a reset still the same any thoughts?

If it just started within your last fill-up it could be bad gas. I know from experience. Baffeled the dealership also. Also you might try trading out spark plugs with a friend. They can fool you. Honestly, its probably somehow related to the work you just performed. But ??

Aren't the catch cans connected to vacuum lines? If so, you might have a bad one. Check your lines out.

Did you pull the I/C to run your lines?

If so you might have rolled a boot edge or knocked off the vac line on the fuel rail. Surprised you're not getting the light???

oh i'm gettin' the ses allright. dsc came on too . but since the car was up on one side all day and overnight i thought it may have gotten messed up . took it for a slow ride to see if it would clear out(had to bump the engine over a few times to see path oil took out of engine for thermostat) so thought o2 mighta' got dirty. but car ran fine after thermostst install and new belt. it's after the pcv catch mod. needless i'll be takin' the i/c off again.
