2003 MCSm warranty question?

I bought my "NEW" 2003 MCS(44,000m) 2 weeks ago. I live 200 miles from the nearest Mini dealer(Nashville). All I really want to know is if I need to go and have an inspection done on my car. It seems to be ok but I'm not sure about any recalls, computer updates etc. that the previous owner may have not had done. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi, I was in the same boat, a while ago. I would go,because you can ;
get the key fob,etc options changed to your liking
see what is available i.e. ,shop
have them look over the car ,its a pc of mind thing
drive the car to get to know it,works too
however when the time comes and you really need help the big distance is gonna suck
