Alta Intercooler Air Diverter Opinions...

I'd like to get your opinion, both good or bad, on Alta's intercooler diverter. Thanks.

Hard to say. Its a tight fit on a MCSa but its supposed to help more then the stock piece.

Much better than stock. In the weather we are having now, 103 in the sun, the Alta piece is way better. Even at low speed the heat recovery rate is much faster.

There is a thread on this site, https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=71261 for more info

It does work on a MCSa. The poster on that thread seemed to do a few strange things. Like not remove the stock diverter from the bonnet.

In order for the Alta Diverter to fit a MCSa you must shave down some of the metal diverter (1/8"-1/4"). Otherwise it will make such a tight fit that it will dent your bonnet. I made this mistake at first and have a super teenie tiny dimple in my bonnet
