m7 Strut Brace Install Question
m7 Strut Brace Install Question
Is it as straight foward as bolt the plates down, then tighten the bolts on the slotted holes?
Or is there another method to the madness?
Blue loctite the bolts on the slots?
thx

Should be in suspension forum, but here are my answers:
1. Installation is very straight forward. Loosen all 8 bolts (4 cap screws, 4 countersunk bolts), remove 6 nuts on strut towers, place plates over left and right towers and reinstall nuts or use new ones, adjust strut so it is nice and straight, tighten 8 bolts. There are no slots from what I could tell, but it has enough play at the plates to fit with no worries.
2. The method above works, but there could be others...
3. Loctite? Not necessary and probably overkill since you'll have to remove some bolts to get to the oil filter or header when you change them.
cheers,
