speedbleeder sizes

Does anyone know the speed bleeder part #'s for a 2003 MCS? I want to install speedbleeders to make bleeding the brakes easier, but they don't have Mini applications on their web site.

I've used them on other cars and they sure make it easy to bleed/flush the brakes.

I contacted the company about speed bleeders for an 06 S and was told that the correct size was SB1010S-SS (the SS is for stainless steel) for the front and back.

You can get the correct size here from this Mini vendor: http://piloracing.com/proddetail.php?prod=639560

Pilo may not have the correct ones. I was interested in them a while ago (and still am...when I get around to it) and I got a PM from a fellow NAM member who said Pilo sold him the "long" style. MINI's need the shorter one to make a good seal. He gave me the correct thread as 10mm X 1.0 in the short style.

Doesn't look like it. They take part number SB1428.

Now that there are a number of brands of very different looking speed bleeder screws, does anyone have a brand preference and why?

Doesn't have to be just for MINI.
