Abs Fuse Tsb??? Show Me!

With all this talk of 40 amp to 30 amp conversions for the ABS, is there a genuine MINI/BMW TSB for this? My MINI is going into Classic for a couple of warranty issues, but when I mentioned a TSB for the ABS fuse swap out the SA did not know what I was talking about.

I'd rather not look the fool (I'm quite capable of doing that on my own, thank you very much) by pressing the fuse issue with them if it's nothing but talk. I can swap it out myself. But just for the record, if it's got a TSB, I want them to swap it and note it.

I've seen a lot of 'talk' about a TSB, but show me the number!

Thanks.....Les

I did a search at infotraxx and alldata and couldn't find any TSB on this topic. Perhaps somebody else will have better luck searching.

If you were talking to Wayne, Zach or the old guy, trust me, they make them selves look like fools much easier than you ever could.

ABS Fuse

I asked my dealer about it, and he said most likely it was already done because the warning was not showing up on my VIN/file

There is no TSB...

BUT the fuse rating was changed to a lower one on new builds....

That post is from a thread about the lawsuit that should be happening now about the issue.

So, if you have them look for a TSB there's none to be found.... Yet....

I'd rather be safe than sorry

My July 03 build MCS had a 30 amp. in there. I replaced it with a 20 amp.
So far so good, had the ABS on just a little bit this morning, no problems.
Now the next time it rains I'm going to give the ABS a workout to see if it blows the 20 amp.
