Clean your intake!
Clean your intake!
Just cleaned my Mini Mania CAI filter with the K&N re-charging kit...and wow is all I can say. I've only had it for about 6 months, and the filter was almost completely black. When rising it off, the water coming off of it was dirt black. Cleaned, dried, and re-oiled and its back to new! You can actually feel it breathing better...almost as dramatic as going from stock to the CAI itself. Lesson for all...CLEAN YOUR CAI FILTERS! Makes a huge difference, your car will thank you...

Should one also consider cleaning the throttle body as part of this maintenance.
I used to do this on my Grand Cherokee 5.2ltr, Maxima 3.0 ltr and Integra 1.8ltr. Made an improvement with stock filter alone...
