Key question from a newbie...
I just picked up a used 2005 MCS and I'm in love. One question; I tend to leave the key in the ignition when the car is parked in the garage. Since the mini's key charges when it's in the ignition, is this damaging it? Is there a risk of overcharging?

Also, That is the only way someone can drive off with your car.

I have had my MINI (05) for 18 months and it lives in the garage overnight every night of its life (except when at the dragon) with the key in the ignition. No worries yet for the battery or anything else....
go for it! and enjoy your new ride
