2 small problems with my 02' cooper S.

First off, my door handle on the passenger side is "stiff". It takes a firm squeeze to open the door. Firmer then it should be. My driver door is firm too (firmer then other minis ive been in), but the passenger door is quite firm to open. Any recommendations on making the handle wife friendly again?

Also, with this nice weather, I opened my sunroof fully today for the first time in months, and it made some sounds when opening. Simply sounds like the tracks need to be cleaned/greased. Any recommendations on what type of lubricant to use on the the tracks to make them work smoothly and quietly again?

Simple...grease the door and stick the sunroof!

 

I'm having similiar problems with my sun roof. Mine also seems to rattle in its tracks everytime I go over a bump in the road. Almost as if the wheels were too small for the tracks so it hops around inside.

Ideas anyone?

 

i opened my sunroof today and when i tried to close it the thing squeaked and then stopped halfway open. I looked at the tracks and there was grease there. maybe its old? i too have an 02
