Whenever I start up my MC after it's been off for a while, say in the morning, and I start to drive off I'll get a slight hesitation that lasts for maybe just a second or two, as if there isn't enough fuel being injected. Has anyone else had something similar with their MC? Should I make a trip to the dealer? I'm also having less than stellar mileage for a Cooper, 24-25 in the city and 30-31 on long highway trips. I wonder if maybe I have a bug in my fuel injection system or something?

 

My 2003 Cooper has this issue, as do many other people on here. I have had the software upgraded, which seems to cure it for a while but it always comes back. To my knowledge there is no fix for this issue yet.
