New engine block on the way

Well my car has been through a new head gasket and was going in for a new cylinder head. Today my SA called and told me that some governing body abbrev. PUMA which overseas these things says to replace my long block.

So I have a new cylinder head and block on the way. That this group says in the past if a car keeps having issues with fitting to replace the entire unit rather then individual components.

So my car with about 11,700 miles is getting basically a new engine.

More info on this issue:
Bad head, bad!
Oh my Freakin’ head!
Gasket replaced

That head gasket failed big time. What kind of event caused all that damage?

Not sure of an event. I went in for the head gasket because of SES and CEL.
Went in for more work when I saw coolant in my oil.

Is your current s/c (with the 15% pulley) going to be installed on the new engine? Or, is the s/c going to be replaced as part of the long block exchange? If the current s/c goes back to MINI, you better find a way to get a stock pulley back on it before it goes out the door, or you may get a nasty surprise in regard to warranty denial.

They told me all the parts not related to the cylinder and block would be transplanted. So the pumps, supercharger and wiring will move to the new block.

They weren't mentioned. Although I removed the GRS Intercooler and Unichip before it went in. The only mod I was worried about when it went in was the pulley. So far so good
