New engine block on the way
New engine block on the way
Well my car has been through a new head gasket and was going in for a new cylinder head. Today my SA called and told me that some governing body abbrev. PUMA which overseas these things says to replace my long block.
So I have a new cylinder head and block on the way. That this group says in the past if a car keeps having issues with fitting to replace the entire unit rather then individual components.
So my car with about 11,700 miles is getting basically a new engine.
More info on this issue:
Bad head, bad!
Oh my Freakin’ head!
Gasket replaced

Went in for more work when I saw coolant in my oil.

If the current s/c goes back to MINI, you better find a way to get a stock pulley back on it before it goes out the door, or you may get a nasty surprise in regard to warranty denial.
