Plug Wires

I am thinking about buying some Jackson Racing Performance wires from Moss. Is it worth buying them for my MINI. Or would it be wasted money?

I am sure you are going to get opinions all over the map on this question.

My car produces over 200WHP @ 7300 RPMs on the original plugs and wires with over 22,000 miles on them.
So I can tell you it is not a limiting factor.

Maybe if I ran some special wires and plugs I could get some real HP

I just bought the same wires! My stock wires are only about 6 months old. I didn't expect a difference with the new wires, but I KNOW I must've added 10-15 WHP!!

OK, not. There hasn't been any noticeable difference at all. I bought them cuz they were about 30 bucks, and look cool. But if you buy them not expecting any sort of performance improvement, then I say go for it. They do look pretty cool, which is all I was after.

They look nice.

If yours aren't shot you won't notice any gains.

But sometimes looking nice is enough.
