Acetone ???

Did anyone else read the article in AutoWeek that mentioned adding a few (3-4) ounces of acetone to a full tank of gas to improve gas mileage, reduce emissions, and improve power ?? The article said that the affect of the acetone is to reduce the surface tension of the gas, resulting in a better atomization of the fuel charge. Sounds plausible.

Anyone ever tried this, or something like it ?

Be careful where you store it and also when you pour it. make sure there are no open flames and decrease the risk of flames the most you can.. also a spark can cause such fires too..

just advice: BE CAREFUL
