I have RainX on my windshield and would like to remove it. Will acetone work? It's supposed to be great from removing thin 'films' and I don't want to damage my windshield. Thanks.
Acetone *would* work but I'd go another route as well. It'll eat right through your paint if you drip or spill - I use it to remove nail polish easily!

Although acetone won't harm glass, I agree that it seems a little harsh. I also suggest mixing rubbing alcohol (standard stuff from your local drugstore) and water, 50/50. That should do the trick and is less harsh.

Actually, FYI... Prima Clarity does not contain any alcohol at all.
