Mini had a Stroke! Left Eye droops

Sometime this week my Mini had a stroke it appears.

2005 MCSC. The left headlight is staring down at the ground. So my assumption is that the auto-leveling mechanism is the culprit. My dealer is 90 miles away though.

Anyone have any troubleshooting I might be able to do on my own, to avoid the trip to the dealer?

Since your in Austin, you might try checking out Terry Sayther. He does quite a bit of work on MINI's and is very good at what he does.

Here is a link to his web site: http://www.terrysaytherauto.com/

Yeah, I'm aware of Terry. Didn't want to bother him until I"m ready to pay money though, since his time shouldn't be free.

It was the right light on mine; had to R&R the entire assembly. Hope you're still under warranty. . .

I had both of mine go out at the same time. Covered under warranty. They had to replace both headlight assemblies, (ouch).
