Testing the Ignition

Is there any way to test the coil pack? Also do the Iridium plugs go bad? Having inspected the plugs, the wires, and the coil pack for cracks or worn material. Only thing I could find were the wires which have now been replaced with Kingsbourne wires. Where else do I look for the skip my car has??? It only seems to do it under a load. Please help.
