Drop link stud size?
Does anyone know the drop link stud size on the MINI? Is it 10mm or 12mm?
Thanks!

Strom, if you don't get any bites here, post in the Suspension forum...
I just know that the nuts are 16mm, at least I seem to recall that... The bolt itself, I'd be guessing.
May I ask why you want to know the size?

I absolutely hate that stud....most annoying thing to reattach once you have spent an hour getting the spring on and off.
They are (M10x1.5)
and i just double checked in bentley

It was asked of me by a suspension manufacturer who is bringing a new coilover setup to the market. Hopefully I'll have more information soon!

Good luck with the bolt, man!
I think that they're good on numbers for now. Hopefully they'll come out with this setup soon.

Strom,
While we're at it... do you know the specs on the nut & bolt that attach the rear swaybar bushings to the subframe?
Thanks

I don't at the moment - I could probably figure it out tonight. RallyMINI might know, though!

Just found it. It's M8x12-8.8.

I picked up a replacement (M8x12, 8.8, coarse thread) at Home Depot for 38 cents. My swaybar and I are happy again.
