Shaking above 60mph when pressing on the throttle
Have the car going in on Friday, but wanting to check here to see if anyone has heard of this. It is an 05 S, with about 6K miles on it. I just recently moved to Phoenix from Denver (high elevation). It did not begin immediately, but after about a week I notice that over 60mph when pressing the pedal it slightly shakes and it is noticeable. I have gone over the 250 miles I believe it needs to "reset" the computer for the new elevation. Does it take longer? Nothing else has been changed since this started except the altitude. Thanks in advance.

I agree with Clo. The MINI is a world car, meaning it can go from desert to arctic, below sea level to mountains, on premium or 3rd world gas and oil (although premium is mandated).
Shaking is more likely a symptom of driveline issues, like wheel torque or even tire air pressure (which should be re-checked now that you've changed climate and elevation). Check with a good quality gauge, not the el-cheapo pencil-type ones on the counter at the check-out stand. Don't forget to reset your flat tire monitor anytime you adjust pressure or move tires.
Also, check your shock tower bushings and mounts, as some (earlier models?) owners have experienced shearing and mushrooming.
