Oil change in NH?

Does anyone know of a reliable place to get my oil changed in and around Southern NH?

I know there is a trick to the filter installation and do not want a newbie oil changer to strip the threads.

I would like to avoid driving all the way to Mini of Peabody for a simple oil change.

TIA

3D all the way ( and Nashua Foreign HORROR Story)

3D is the best in the area by far. Give them a call and don't think about anywhere else. Dan is the head man, Dave is excellent as well, Deb is the office manager. I swear by these guys, and they were a HUGE factor in my buying a MINI - Only services BMW and MINI

RUN do not walk away from Nashua Foreign Auto - I had gone there for years. The owner (Deiter) was good, but his son is running things now and is HORRIBLE.... Their best mechanics are gone, and they caused so much damage to my 325ix that 3D had to fix it wasn't funny... cost me $3000 in fuel system repairs b/c they had no idea what they were doing so they kept pulling things off and breaking them... The also cracked my oil pan w/ an oil change b/c the didn't replace the crush washer.. an claimed "old age" That'll be $800 to patch the crack... STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM NASHUA FOREIGN AUTO!!!!!

Thanks Aaron, I'll give 3D a shot! Sorry to hear about your NFA experience.

Thanks for update NFA. I hadn't been in there in quite a few years. Didn't realize Dieter wasn't actively involved....

3D is where I decided I was going after my warranty expires...I hear good things about them.

It is a shame about NFA. Deiter could diagnose things w/ his eyes closed, and was excellent. I've just had far too many issues, and even some friends that I had recommended over there had their cars dome completely wrong in the last few years that it's not worth the risk.

Or if you're north of Manch, try Concord Motorsports too, I know they do BMW and DINAN, so I'd imagine they do MINI as well.

I had heard the oil filter was a little tricky.
Very easy to strip the threads when installing the new filter??

If you are at all mechanically inclined it is really easy to do. Can be a little messy taking the filter off but thats about it.

By the way, The manager of Nashua Foriegn Auto (The son of the owner) that was mentioned in an earlier post in this thread was killed in a motorcycle accident this past weekend....regardless of the recent bad experiences with NFM it's sad to hear of someone in the industry getting killed.

Is the MINI filter the same as the stnadard BMW? I belive it's similar to the filter on my R80 bike, not that hard to change, just different. Might be an idea to have a local place do the 1st change (like 3D) and watch how it's done.

I saw that Kenny (NFA) was killed sunday night. Regardless of all issues w/ maintenance on a machine, this is a tragic loss of a good person. Reallly slaps ya in the face when you give a negative opinion from past experiences, and something like this happens. Sorry.
