Alta intake hose question.

Does anybody know if the colored hose (red or blue) becomes discolored after a period of time? I am going to order the system and like the look of a colored hose, but wonder if the black hose would be a better choice.

If it's kept clean then it pretty much stays the same. It may darken a bit, but mine still looks the same in the year that I have used it.
