rattling sound from front when in idle

rattling sound from front when in idle
well today morning I noticed a rattling sound coming from the front of the car when I was warming it up.
Sounded like some kinda metal shield buzzing against another metal..
It goes away if I turn off the fan.(I have auto climate control) Is this a common thing?
I had my exhaust installed yesterday. could it be related? any heat shields in the front?
