Guys,

I have the NON-auto A/C controls. The standard 3 **** unit. The **** all the way on the right controls which way the air flows...to your face, feet, defroster, etc.

Ok, well mine won't turn past the 2nd setting of face and feet. It feels like something is blocking it from continuing to turn.

I did just install an aftermarket radio and I am wondering if something from my radio is behind the HVAC box and is preventing it from turning. I would have thought that it all would be electrical with just wires but maybe there is a shaft that turns back there or something...I don't know.

I'd like to know if it may be that or if its a defective unit. I didn't want to take apart the dash again to pull out the radio and see unless I had to.

NO! I would much rather SOMEBODY have chimed in to aid me but alas so goes it when I make posts.

So for those who want to know there is a hose line looking piece coming out of the back of the HVAC controls for the air direction circulator(in your face, at your feet, defroster). It goes straight back towards the engine then hooks towards the drivers side and connects to a plastic thingy which actually moves the vents to control the air flow. My factory harness got pushed their when I put in my radio and was impeding the movement. Once I relocated the harness to the other side it all worked fine.
