Hey guys,
I only have 1260 miles on my MC, but i'm hearing some strange noises coming from the motor. There seems to be a sound like the motor is moving around when i have in in 3rd or 4th and i tap the gas a bit. Is that normal engine torquing? Also, I can hear a faint sound when i let off the gas or downshift. I cant explain the noise to well, but it sounds like gears. I'm no tranny man and this is my first manual tranny with more than 4 speeds. The only reason I ask is that i had a encounter with trouble with a Corvette i had last summer....engine mount broke, torque side, and smashed my hood. i dont want any problems like that already!

 

If your signature is any indication of your driving style I can see your going to have problems.

I took the car out again to see if i had missed anything, and it seems like the noise coming from the tranny is just the whine of the gears slowing down. i think the sound of the motor moving is just the motor moving as the clutch grabs while moving, it isnt as loud as i thought it was. i think i'm worrying too much!
