Washer nozzle leakage?

Do your washer nozzles seep washer fluid when you dont or havent used the washer ? Mine seem to seep the washer fluid especially the rear one, the fronts do very slighly but the back one is leaving a definate trail where it is running down the hatch and staining the trim and paint. I have polished it off a couple times already but this has to stop.

I know the bmw m coupe has the same problem and bmw puts a check valve in to correct the problem. I have just never heard anyone mention in on a mini. Is it just mine or are there others witht he same concern?

Just curious if maybe Mini already is aware of the problem and have a fix or if you have to let them figure it out from scratch. I really dont like to leave my car at the dealer unless I have to and I worry even more when I know they will be messing with painted panels and possibly water which means they will either leave it to spot or possibly swirl the paint drying it. Black paint really worries me in the dealers hands.

Any input on th ewasher nozzle leakage thing is apreciated.

washer nozle replacements

Not to steer to far off, but does anyone know if you can replace the nozzles easily. Mine just shoot a straight stream onto the windshield, very limited coverage. I would prefer to have a nozzle that fans the fluid across the whole window. Any suggestions?

I too to would like a fan,but I have moved them around so it works pretty good.Aim them lower so the wiper takes the wash up the window. And if you are quick with the lever, you can get spray,no wipe, load the window with fluid, then wipe. But a fanned out spray would be better IMO
