Comfort access buttons recessed

Thanks to all that reply! I’ve tried WD40, but my buttons are recessed even below flush with the handle, both doors of my Roadster. Any suggestions on how to get them to pop out and/or return to their normal position?

You may have to remove the outer door handles to unseize the buttons.
