Comfort Access question.

I think I read somewhere that even without Comfort Access you can still start the engine of the F56 with the keys left in your pocket. Is this correct?
I have Comfort Access on my current R56 and NEVER use it. I don't understand waiting until I get to the car to press a button on the handle to unlock it. Plus it's always been kind of glitchy and sometimes I have to stand there and repeatedly press (or hold) the button to get it to lock or unlock. So much so that I gave up using it within a few months of getting the car and reverted back to using the fob. The hatch was even more annoying in that sometimes it would work and then just when I got used to it working it would quit again. Standing in the rain holding the latch trying to get it to open was annoying so I once again went back to the fob. 3+ years later I don't even try it. So while I like not having to stick the key in the ignition I don't care about the stuff on the door handles. Hoping I can skip the option this time, plus I like the look of the handle better without the button.

Yes - there is no hole/slot for the key at all in the F56
