Coolant hose replacement. Need help.

So I'm almost home and the oil CEL pops up. I'm like dam. Thankfully I was almost home.
Check the oil. Low level. Add some. Then I check the coolant tank and to my surprise it's all gone
So I'm looking for the source of the leak and when moving the tank the all things stays in my hand.

Not sure what to do at this point.
How hard is it to replace this hose line? It looks like one portion goes to the Turbo. And the other I'm not sure... there's a T junction that completely snapped.
It's that dam hose connection to the coolant reservoir that makes changing oil so difficult... It probably didn't help I pull on this hose every time I change the oil...
the T that broke is by the engine above the oil filter housing.

I have to find the part numbers but access seems limited?
Car is 10yr old. Mini Cooper S Automatic.

Thanks to anyone who can help. I'm hoping I don't have to tow the car...

It looks like it's the coolant return line with the T that broke... That's said I'm not sure that's where the primary leak is from...

So what's the risk the engine has seen damage? If things are okay, do I need to change the oil? I just did before the winter...
I got home about 2 minutes after the oil CEL popped up, driving slowly.
I carefully open the oil cap and things were a little hot in there but cooled down eventually.

Hello,

As long as you did not overheat you should be fine. Was the engine oil below the normal upper and lower or was it not even on the stick?

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...voir-hose.html

Quick fix kit, get the car running again.

Full replacement

Thank you.
I actually went ahead and order parts from you overnight. Just replace coolant tank and hoses (both the one you're showing and the one between the tank and that). I ordered the hose with the metal T. Was a little confused by the dimensions at first but it fits.
Went on a short drive. The car seems to run fine right now. Access was fun but not horrible over all. I just put fluid everywhere. I which I had better clamp spreader for those hose clamps.
The oil was low :/ I must have added a quart maybe, I'm not sure. I had noticed it consumes a little more oil in general now that it has almost 80k miles on it.

I think I'm going to replace the oil to be on the safe side, assuming I don't notice a significant loss in the next few days.
I get the feeling the coolant leak is on me, by over stressing the tank connector and hose T connector during my last oil change I probably created a small leak that over time started to empty the system. I was so busy I didn't check the car over the winter.
I wish I had known sooner the tank can be removed by a little clip under. Still no easy drain plug for the coolant. It would have been great... Or I'm not aware where is one.

I find it strange both oil and coolant were low at the same time... Now it's a monitoring game to see if it goes beyond this issue.
I'll take the engine splash cover this weekend to one clean things up (with all that coolant fluid everywhere when doing the repair) and check on the oil pan...

BTW: 10yrs old. 80k miles. Sleeps in the garage. Hose were not in bad shape. No cracks or anything but dirt on the outside. It's all these plastic connectors I worry about...

Also, while I like the T metal connector I got, BMW MINI clamps are way smarter. They come open with a release clip. Makes the install really easy. An obvious design choice to reduce labor time for their service.
