So my passenger seat occupancy mat failed and threw the lights for 1(Passenger Airbag OFF, 2) Seatbelt Indicator, and 3) Airbag light. I bought the emulator kit from ebay and installed it about two years ago. Two components- the emulator box, plug and play, and the two wires with the resistor that emulate the seatbelt being buckled. After installation the "Passenger Airbag OFF" light disappeared but the airbag and seatbelt lights stayed on. My code reader in data mode showed the airbag was active so I left it for another day. Remaining code was 93BB Pass Seatbelt Buckle. Today I decided to try installing a different size resistor because I had read that sometimes the resistor used in that kit can be out of range and keep the seatbelt light on. I take the seat out and start soldering in another resistor when I see that the two wires I removed from the airbag connector to install the kit are the two from the seatbelt. Just for kicks I decided to reverse that and plug the two seatbelt wires back into the connector, removing the jumper with the resistor. Reinstalled the seat and both the seatbelt and airbag lights are off. Needed the emulator, did not need the jumper. I now have ZERO error lights on my dash, a miracle. Just thought I would share in case it helps someone else.

I created an account to let you know that someone did in fact benefit from the information you shared. The emulator box fixed the 93C3 error code for me but then I was getting a 93BB error code. The passenger airbag was not showing deactivated anymore but I still had the light on the dash from the 93BB code. I went back, removed the jumper, plugged the original wires back in and using only the emulator I was able to clear the 93BB error.
Thank You!
