09 JCW R56 Struggling to start in cold + misfiring

Hi, I recently fully cleaned out my intake valves as they were fully caked up with carbon. I did this as my car struggled to start and idle in the cold and I was getting occasional misfires. After I put everything back together, the car fired up great and drove amazing (way more responsive). The day after that, when i turned the car on it stalled a few times and when it eventually started it was misfiring like crazy (mostly on 2 and 4). I drove it around for a little bit and eventually got a check engine light plus limp mode. I stopped in a parking lot and turned the car off and on and it completely fixed the misfires with the CEL also going off. Today (the day after that) when I turned on the car it stalled the first 2 times but started and ran fine after that (no misfires). Just wondering what I could do to fix the car struggling to start and what is causing the misfires. The codes I had with the CEL are below.

2880 suggests a possible HPFP issue. Measure the fuel pressure at the rail.

For your JCW MINI, you can probably read the rail fuel pressure with a good scan tool. Also read the response at this link.

fuel rail pressure looked pretty good. when my car was fully warmed up it idled at about 900 psi and peaked at around 1800 psi under full load. when i started the car cold, it started around 600 psi and stalled the first time, and when i got it going the second time the pressure slowly increased as the car warmed up till it got to that 900 ish mark i mentioned.

Consider replacing the HPFP.
