R56 JCW stalls occasionally on cold start
Hi,
my R56 JCW currently stalls on about every 10th time doing a cold start. The rpm won't go above 600, it sounds like it's only running on some of its cylinders as theres a lot of unburned gas going in the exhaust. When I start again after it stalled or turn the engine off manually and start again, it starts up just fine. Without any problems.
I read some threads about the high pressure fuel pump going bad, is there any way to check/verify this? I did not realize any recent drop in performance.
There are no engine related fault codes saved within the car.
Thanks

Get a Mini specific code reader that has live data capture capabilities and monitor the fuel pressure. You need to have the code reader anyway as the Mini is a quirky car as it is and you can't read most important CEL codes with most standard readers. The 2 things every Mini owner needs to buy are the code reader and a Bentley manual
