Burned oil/fuel smell on acceleration + very high oil consumption

Hi everyone. Hope you're having a great Sunday. I own a 06 R53 that I daily drive and I've been having a strange situation going on that I hope you guys can help me with. So, since I bought my R53 it always had a smell of burned oil or fuel (not sure which) while under mid to open wide throttle load. It always smells under those conditions unless I have the Aircon on (with recirculation off) or push it hard for a few minutes. I've also been having terrible oil consumption (I use Castrol 5w30 with the correct specifications), however there isn't any kind of smoke on the exhaust in any given moment and I can't see an active oil leak that could justify this kind of oil consumption (about 1L/quart every 1000 km). The car recently has been parked for 7 days and it only left a small drop of oil or power steering fluid on the floor (not sure which as well since I might have a small leak from the power steering fluid reservoir). Under the car I can see the pan is covered in a bit of oil but nothing major (if it was major it would drip I believe). The steering rack also is covered in a bit of oil and grime. Do you guys believe the PCV valve might have something to do with this? Considering the oil consumption and the smell under load? Or is something else more probable? The car starts wonderfully every single time, hot or cold, and pulls really nicely so I refuse to believe the engine internals might be the culprit. Any help or comment is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not sure where the oil is going but the oil/gas you smell under load/WOT maybe indicative of a crack before or a clogged cat (?)
Just speculating.
I had just mentioned in another post to the op that oil and hydraulic fluid from a leaking powersteering fluid hose, splattering onto the exhaust was the cause for the smell of burning oil in my previous case.

Wish I knew where your oil loss is going if there are no indications of oil spots in the driveway. 1qt per 1,000mi is a lot!
BTW: Did you happen to replace your dipstick with one of those cheap ones?
I've heard a few others mention that some of them are in accurate and are different lengths than OEM or CravenSpeed.

Again, just a thought.

Sounds as though you may have a leaking valve cover gasket. If it's leaking in the back (an oily steering rack is also a good indication) the oil may be burning off on the hot exhaust (and not dripping noticeably) and that's what you're smelling.
