Turn signal bulb not working immediately after re-install of the same one!

Hello!

I have a 2011 R56S, and I took out the front left turn signal bulb to try and find out what model it is for purchasing a silver bulb variant. The bulb worked completely fine, and I made sure to not touch it with bare hands.
After reinstall, the bulb does not work and there's a fast signal noise and green arrow in the cabin. I’ve made sure the connector is tight, flipped the orientation of the bulb, removed the rubber grommet temporarily, etc.

I just took removed and re-installed the bulb that was already in the right side, and now it doesn’t work!!

Any insight? Thanks!

Solved. Rotated bulb into socket while plugged in and hazard lights on. If you rotate the bulb until it clicks in, the bulb will not work. A slight counter-rotation has to be made for the metal contacts to touch.
