Stock Problems/IssuesDiscussions related to warranty related issues and repairs, or other problems with the OEM parts and software for MINI Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
I noticed this today after checking my engine codes and is showing a evap leak.. I know this is a stupid question but is this missing a vacuum line... am new to owning a mini and am trying to work throw some problems with it. It's a 2004 mini cooper s
Thanks for the super fast reply yeah not sure if I want to change that first or the gas cap.. been thinking I have a vacuum issue as well just can't find it alm stock and max boost around recline is nine something. And at idle vacuum is between 17 something and 18 something not sure what's going on the car does have 123k on it just got it like a week ago
Yeah I got to make an order throw you guys any way for my strut mounts witch are destroyed and a few other things. And info on the boost and stuff where it should be would be helpful to because I want to get all this stuff online before I throw 17% pulley on it and hoping will be OK with the factory injectors
It is possible you may have a crack in your fuel tank breather line #4. The line maybe cracked or broken under the supercharger intercooler.
-18hg at idle is about right. Any higher + hg at idle (I think) may indicate a vacuum leak (#6). OR a leak at the intercooler boot(s).
Low boost maybe due to vacuum leak or failed connection at the vacuum pipe #6. Both require the intercooler to be removed for inspection and replacement.
